Second year our family ordered a Christmas Day cake from Enze. Everyone thought it was delicious and wanted more.
Light, fluffy and not overly sweet
I have had a handful of cakes at Enze and this is probably my least fav cakes at Enze. The cake overall was just decent. The sponge cake is soft and cream is really nice and not too sweet as usual like the other Enze cakes however the mango fibres and the mangoes itself in this cake made me quite disappointed as it ruined the eating experience. There were a lot of mango fibres which we all had to spit out time to time when eating and the mangoes in the cake were quite sour despite it being in season. Overall, the cake was refreshing but I may not choose to have this cake again when there are other nicer cakes at Enze to have. I will continue to try the other cakes at Enze to complete my collection. However I wish they brought back the Dragonwell amd Peach cake and the Coconut Pandan cake though. Those were my fav. There was also no email to review this cake which was odd because everytime I would get an email to review their cakes after ordering it.
