The cake was really moist and soft. Not too sweet. Perfect for my mums birthday.
Super light and fluffy cake with a very pleasant hojicha flavour throughout. It's not too strong and bitter but nor is it too subtle. Another lovely tea based flavour cake that the whole family enjoys (Jasmine and Mandarin is equally as delicious). Looking forward to trying more flavours for my upcoming events.
Honestly my favourite flavour, its so nice and has a very strong tea/hojicha flavour. The cream is so smooth, whilst the cake is so lovely and fluffy. I got the 8 piece one but we were able to cut it into 10 pieces (win!). I would definitely get this again and recommend it to anyone who has been contemplating getting it!
Signature enze Japanese chiffon - light and fluffy infused in a subtle hojicha flavour. Caramelised pear perfect combo. It was delicious!
