Disappointed

The sponge was soft and nicely made, however, the thing that ruined the cake was the very eggy lemon curd. Not only was it overpoweringly eggy, but it tasted metallic. Unfortunately if you prepare lemon curd with metallic utensils, it ruins the flavor of the curd, which is what I believe happened here.

Best sponge I've had in a very long time

Delicious, give it a try

Decided to try the new cake choice that Enze had. I was initially hesitant about the sweetness level but the beautiful appearance of the cake got me. After having it, the sweetness level was just right and I could taste the berries! Would get again
