This cake was wonderful, the cake was very soft and the cream was the perfect amount of sweetness. Not only that, the cake itself was beautiful. Would highly recommend.

Disappointed

The sponge was soft and nicely made, however, the thing that ruined the cake was the very eggy lemon curd. Not only was it overpoweringly eggy, but it tasted metallic. Unfortunately if you prepare lemon curd with metallic utensils, it ruins the flavor of the curd, which is what I believe happened here.

Best sponge I've had in a very long time
