Strawberry Cream Cake

I ordered this cake for my boss’s birthday, and they loved it. It was not only aesthetically pleasing, resembling the fake Japanese food displays, but also incredibly soft with a generous amount of strawberries inside. It was truly wonderful!

Beautiful cake that is light and fluffy. The cream was a bit too sweet for my liking but strawberries were slightly sour so it worked well!

I've tried almost all their cakes and this was probably my least favourite. Strawberries were very sour which took away from the nice sponge and cream. The cream on the outside didn't taste like their usual fresh cream. It tasted almost frothy. A bit let down with this one.

We ordered this for our baby’s baptism in the 10 inch size, along with a mango cream cake. We preferred the mango cake as the strawberries read as a bit tart in comparison with the flavour profile of the mangoes. I think I would try a different cake next time, but we still enjoyed it and it’s just a matter of personal preference. I didn’t count the number of slices we got from it but I think we would have easily gotten 22. If ENZE has any suggestions on how to slice it, I’d think that would be good to include in the order confirmation email or item description - eg, how to cut to get 22 servings; which type of knife to use, etc. Many thanks ENZE for a delicious cake and great customer service experience! I will definitely be buying again.

Flimsy packaging -i bought a larger size cake and given the size and weight it should have had a warning on the box, the handle broke so the cake fell to the ground after deliver y and was lopsided for the birthday party.
