Good tea flavour coming through but it does overwhelm the mandarin. I wish there was a little more sponge in the middle for more structure as it was mostly cream. As described it’s perfect size for 1-2 people.
Was so impressed! The cake is so pretty and the flavours were so well balanced. You can taste the floral jasmine and the generous chunks of mandarin. It’s a cake for people who enjoy mellow and bitter flavours. ONE OF MY FAVOURITES. Will definitely get this again.
A family favourite. Lots of mandarin pieces, and fragrant. Didn't expect the mandarin - tea combination to work but together they are delicious! Will order again.
I never thought I would find the combination to be nice but I was so wrong! The jasmine tea flavour makes the cake less rich. Fluffy cream and mandarin just make it even lighter! I cannot get enough of this cake!
the cake was alright at best since it was a little bitter for my liking. won't purchase again though.
