The taro bento cake was beautiful! The taro taste was subtle, but the cake was not too sweet and very light. Definitely leaves you wanting another slice! We've gotten all of our birthday cakes recently from ENZE and they have all been amazing.
The Taro flavour isn't overly strong, nor is it thick and pasty. It's light and creamy, combined with Enze's signature soft sponge, it was perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed it
If you could taste a cloud, this bento would be it. Extremely light with the perfect amount of cream to compliment the chiffon. The subtle flavour of taro is present throughout. The garnish of gold leaf always adds to the decadence of the cake.
I can definitely taste the real taro in the cake not something artificial.
